I loved this book so much! I hate how something wasn’t said about Nic being born on 6th though!

Secret baby, college basketball and slow burn romance? I was sold! This book was just so good and despite it being a debut novel it didn’t feel like that at all. It’s on the level of so many other books I have read this year and I was just so obsessed with Lola and TJ’s love story.

The love they created that resulted in Phoenix or Nix as TJ likes to call him is just so beautiful to me. I loved the moment where Lola asked TJ if he regretted them being together in Miami and he was like no cause then Phoenix wouldn’t have happened and he was meant to be. I can tell you that I almost cried my eyes out at that moment. LIKE TJ IS SO DREAMY????? And goddamn Lola is a super mom. The way she handled herself once she got pregnant and made sure that Phoenix would never need anything. She sacrificed a lot for him and it’s so beautiful to read about. That’s one strong woman for sure.

Lola and TJ’s story was so touching and I loved every single part of it. I literally want them to adopt me ASAP. And the whole found family aspect of the book? I’m obsessed. Book one just made me even more excited for book two. I cannot wait to read it in a few days. One of the best debut novels I have ever read. I am so hooked.

Perfect, beautiful, no notes. Loved how all the characters had very distinct personalities, looking forward to read about the other characters in the rest of the series.

It was a great read, but could probably have been a hundred pages shorter. The plot was well planned and didn’t feel rushed at the end like a lot of romances tend to do. However, I felt like I was dragging my feet at the end trying to finish the book I was loving so much.

I think that if I wasn't traveling in the middle of reading this it would have been a five-star book so it was more of situationally instead of anything to do with the ebook on why it wasn't a full five-stars. I loved the push and pull between Lola and TJ. Phoenix was an adorable little man and I loved how he was a part of the story and got to know all the found family as well as Lola. I adored how TJ's family took Lola in as one of their own from the start. TJ's little loves had me in a chokehold. It was so easy to fall into this story. I really enjoyed this author's writing and this will not be the last book I read from them by far. LOVED how the other books were set up with the friend group I am SAT for everyone and I'm excited to jump into Landon and Julianna's story next (my timing of reading this right before Only With You's release was accidental but perfect lol).
