this might be really niche but it gave me the same vibe as the calloway sister series but specifically the last book where there is no real huge drama but the characters are just living life
the second half of the book was essentially moments in the characters' lives - slow burn. it gave me like mariana vibes. more spicy scenes than i thought! and also i really liked the supporting cast but sometimes i was like there is maynve too many people? kept getting jayden and jagger mixed up but i'm sure it'll be fine when they get their own books.

This was a fun little palate cleanser of a book. I was irritated that TJ fucked anything that walked but Lola was this innocent wallflower, that was only with TJ and didn’t even have a secondary love interest. Phoenix was super cute. The third act conflict felt forced, but overall, TJ and Lola’s relationship was cute and I was actively rooting for them throughout the whole book.
