: ̗̀➛ I picked up this book because it kept appearing on my fyp and explore page, so I decided to give it a try. It ended up being completely worth it because I enjoyed it so much! I never really admitted to myself that the accidental pregnancy/secret baby trope was one of my favorites until this book, which made me realise that it definitely is.

The story was written so well, and the connection between the main characters, TJ and Lola, felt incredibly real. Their relationship buildup was natural and believable. I also loved their son, Phoenix!! He was such a cute addition to the story, and I really enjoyed seeing the father-son dynamic play out. One of my favorite moments was how TJ made it clear to Lola that everything he did for Phoenix was because he was his son and not just to ease Lola’s burden. It wasn’t about “helping” her; he was actively taking responsibility and truly raising his child, not just babysitting.

I wish I could read this book again for the first time because of how much I enjoyed it. It was so intriguing that I ended up sacrificing my sleep (i started at midnight and finished at 5am lol that’s how hooked I was)

“If you could, would you take senior week back?”
“No. Taking it all back would mean not meeting you, and not meeting you would mean no Phoenix, and a world without Phoenix is a world I can’t imagine.”

Lola and TJ thought their meet cute was just for the senior week—or so they thought. They never knew their lives will be intertwined and they will walk through parenthood, college, work, and friendship together for a long time. I loved the support and involvement of their friends because they made every interactions enjoyable and funny.

This is one of the books I would cling to especially if I want an easy read with romantic vibes and a little bit of banters on the side. Oh, and the spice? Sizzling.

An indulgent impulse read that had a couple of good and cute moments but overall wasn't great and definitely not worth over 500 pages. But a nice distraction on my work breaks.

I was surprised by how quickly I was hooked into this, I had a really hard time even putting it down for at least the first 60% which is exactly what I was looking for. I’m also such a sucker for the surprise baby trope and All I Need really delivered on that one! I also loved that it was set in a college setting because that’s pretty unusual for this particular trope and I thought it was interesting. Lola and TJ were a really sweet couple and reading about their little family gave me all the warm fuzzies and the friendship groups they both had were a lot of fun.

What really let this book down was the length. I wholeheartedly believe no contemporary romance should be longer than 400 pages (sorry) and given that this was well over 500 it was definitely too long. I enjoyed it so much but there was so much unnecessary text towards the end that it really lost momentum and I ended up skimming quite a bit just to get to the end. Given that the next book is over 600 pages I just don’t think I’ll be picking it up any time soon.

I would recommend it if you like the secret baby trope and love the idea of that being mixed together with a spicy college sports romance.
