i am severely disappointed. i felt so disconnected characters. there was a lot of telling and not showing.
phoenix felt like a side character. heck even Saint was more of a MC than him and that’s not ok….
their story had so much potential but i just don’t think it was delivered well.
would love to read Daisy’s and Saints book tho.

Okay this is the first book in a while I feel like I’ve truly DEVOURED. I loved the plot, the characters and the humour! I really really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait for the rest of the series to be released. I rate the book 3.5 stars as I did have a few moments like at the start where I struggled to suspend my disbelief for the quickness of the pairing. However this didn’t ruin the story and I think it’s one of the best KU reads I’ve had in a while!

I actually really enjoyed this book, it was a touch long, longer than maybe it needed to be, but I actually still really enjoyed the character development and plot development. I will definitely read the rest of the interconnected standalones for sure.

The character names - TJ, Saint, Jagger Spears 💀 and of course the kid’s name is phoenix - it’s so bad it’s funny 😂
I skipped a few chapters ahead to see if it gets better, it does not. The MMC is such an arsehole and ends up yelling at the FMC because he thinks she made up the pregnancy & is out to ‘ruin his life’…
