Some of the situations were incredibly tough to hear. To hear Viola's story in her own words was so powerful. I really enjoyed getting to know more about her as a person and actor. Viola is a powerhouse!

Inspirational - to the core. Finding Me does what it sets out to: reminding that a life worth living can only be born from radical, unflinching honesty and the courage to shed facades… to rewrite one’s own story and find one’s purpose and one's inner child’s voice. As Viola Davis (born on August 11, 1965) does. It must have been all the more touching to have EGOT award-winning actress, philanthropist, and CEO/Co-Founder of @JuVeeProductions herself read her life story to you. Even though her writing may be at times a bit chaotic - darted with unconscious trains of thought - her memoir boosts of unparalleled strength, sacrifice and empathy amidst so much brutality, dwelling in systemic racism. Told with a superhero-like grace, her human factor is what runs it home... through connecting.
