Better than the first book. This felt like more of a complete story, probably because the focus was a lot more on Gwyn and Wells' relationship and less on the magical history of the town. Anyhow, looking very much forward to book 3.

It’s a nice addition to the universe we’ve come to know in the ‘ex hex’. The banter between Wells and Gwynn is good and the way the story unfolded felt very cozy. It’s a nice comforting witchy romance which is exactly what I needed right now.

The book is fun and cute but Erin Sterling always solves the problem she spent 250 pages building up to in 15 pages.
