3⭐️ 80% of the book was just vibes and hinting that something was going to go wrong. 10% the characters shagging in a truck. Other 10% was the actual plot twist that literally resolved itself within 3 pages. Would have been scored lower but it fulfilled its task of making me cosy autumnal

Cute and fun. Based on my review of The Ex Hex, I didn't have super high expectations for this one, and I'm glad I didn't. Again, this wasn't that memorable and I mostly read it because Halloween is right around the corner. I did find the end twist of the father's ring being the magic sucking force from the Jones family to be kinda interesting. But in general the characters are fairly cliche. A fun escape/change of pace from what I've been reading lately.
Cute and fun. Kinda quick wrap up / climax, but I like the set up for book three.
