I thought it was okay. I read the first book last year and I remember liking it more, even though they both have the cheesy factor. This one progressed too quickly and also had a couple plot holes that bothered me. I realize they might have left the Bowen/Simon power confrontation out for the third book, but the fact Gwyn didn’t have powers because of Simon and then suddenly had them back was odd. It was also never explained. I enjoyed it, but didn’t love it. Thank you Goodreads, William Morrow, and Erin Sterling for the physical copy win!

Love Gwynn, but the storyline in the first one was a little more exciting. This could have been really good, but the plot was just brushed over. It's still a fun Halloween vibe read!

Cute sequel. I liked both characters and enjoyed the plot.

NOPE. just nope. I had a lot of fun with book 1 and I struggled to get even midway through this book. It’s a terrible reiteration of book one that only succeeds in destroying secondary characters in a pathetic attempt to cobble together a love story. The college kids are so incredibly annoying that the awful romance isn’t even the worst part. Hard, HARD pass on this.
