So good! Whenever I read anything from Ancient literature, it makes me feel so good. The language, writing and the way people describe things are so unique and dainty. Such grace!

This is the first case of incest and that to with tragedy came put as Hamartia. Oedipus was sent off to far lands in childhood as the prophecy said he would kill his father and he was vanquished and later when he grows up he want to conquer kingdom bring him back to his birth place and he killed his father and married his own mother and that too he doesn't know about such condition and birth a baby and make his own mother his mistress and then kingdom fall in the prey of Natural calamities and one elderly priest said that there is something wrong in the royal family and then when past came to light of Oedipus he punished himself and give up his kingdom and make himself blind for the sin he did and that's where the play one finished.
