lucaian and sloane were childhood friends turned into enemies. A second chance romance. Lucian’s younger self was so broken and hurt. It was so sad to see him going through everything. Little sloane being his safe place and helping him with his truama. They were so sweet as kids I absolutely loved their past chapters. It alone is everything to me.

I enjoyed luciansloane until the 55% mark. after the 55% I was more interested in the past chapters. The present chapters were filled with banter which I did enjoy at the beginning but it was childish at times especially during smut. There really wasn’t much I liked from them as a couple during the present chapters. Also the book didn’t have to be this long.

Little lucian and sloane will always be special. The older version of them were not so cool…

DNF.

I don’t wanna do this any more, these characters became boring in their own book and there is no way they stay together after dating. Like nearly half way into the book and only once have they had a fun amount on tension that isn’t just hatred.

I gave this book 5 stars because out of the 3 books in this series, this was my favorite. I liked this couple the best. The subplot of the book was kind of lame and it is very spicy. So reader beware...
