This is the first time I have wanted to go out and buy a self-help book. My brain chemistry has been forever rewired thanks to KC Davis. Every chapter of this spoke deeply to me. Thank you.

This book is less of a cleaning self help and more of a replacing your negative feelings on cleaning, especially if you’re neurodivergent. It was good, I’d recommend it to people who have a lot of negative thoughts like me, but if you’re looking for a beat by beat how to this isn’t it. But I feel it would be an incredibly dull read or listen if it was that.

Definitely needed and definitely amazing. This gives such great ideas that I think I need to buy a copy of this for my future home. It also provides huge mental reset ideas around cleaning, especially for neurodivergent or disabled people.

I expected a different kind of book—a practical approach to home maintenance—so I don’t think I’m the target audience. That said, it was short and sweet with a few nuggets of wisdom that generalize beyond keeping house.
The thesis packs a punch as it is: I don’t exist to serve my space, my space exists to serve me.
