This does seem to be more focused on struggling as a mother/spouse. I would have liked more focus on struggling even when it is just you. There was good information and advice here either way.

I am not the target audience of this book. If you do your dishes everyday, you are likely not either. But, there were a lot of great little nuggets and ways of reframing that I did like. Also it's incredibly short and there's even an abridged version of THAT.

I’ve recommended this book to everyone I know who struggles with mental health or ADHD. There are so many helpful tidbits to help with keeping a house functional even on your worst days, but the best part is that the book focuses on deconstructing what it means to “keep house” and validates common struggles not just with cleaning and organizing your home but also with self care tasks. I read this though Libby and my library and will probably purchase my own copy to refer to!

Good book to read personally and also to assign for psych classes specific to depression

Absolutely everybody should read this, whether they struggle with keeping their space clean or not. Already buying more copies to give to my pals. We could all be a little kinder to ourselves, and this book is a great start
