"Carmilla" is such a beautifully written Gothic masterpiece that left me spellbound. The sapphic undertones, haunting atmosphere, and supernatural elements all came together to create a mesmerizing and captivating reading experience. The silly dialogues peppered throughout the novel had me chuckling at times, which added a fun and unexpected element to the overall reading experience. I highly recommend this novel to anyone looking for a dark and eerie tale that will leave a lasting impression. Five stars all around.

gothic vampire lesbians can’t do wrong in my eyes, expect they CAN, because this was boring and predictable as fuck. 

i liked the romantic speeches Carmilla gave, but otherwise, this didn’t impress me.
