At 54 years old sometimes I feel like I’ve had all the fun I’ll ever have. This book was so fun and the three main characters were all at the 70 years of age group. Their adventures were hilarious and I loved how it all came together and wrapped up in a bow. It was a surprise of a great book.

I started off really enjoying myself. I wanted a nice lighthearted tale of friends who take a road trip. While that is essentially what happens, there were a few things that had me ready to dnf half way in.
The whole sub plot with Maggie and what was going on there was infuriating to me. I hated it.
Since I did have a nice time with a chunk of the book, I can’t get it below a 3, however if there was another page of ringer and money mentioned, I would have probably thrown this one out of my camper window.

What a pleasant read, very much unexpected and very much needed. I fell in love with the characters and found myself yearning to travel again soon. Friendship, loyalty, love, exploring and food, the best of all worlds. The ending was bittersweet and I hated that it had to end, felt as if I was part of the pack. Fast read, very good leading into summer.
