Very good romance book, I loved the narrative being a quarter life crisis. Finding old love and renewing it again, it also tells you a bit about how the film industry works.

Look. I understand the necessity of a third act break up in the romance genre. I do however feel it was unnecessary here, and this could have been resolved/tension could have been built in other ways

This book had me feeling all the feels between Danny’s parents story and him and Kaliya’s relationship. At times I did wish we could have seen things from Danny’s point of view. Overall I did enjoy the book; it was a really cute and quick read!

I was all immersed in the book drama. A perfect dose of that for me. I liked the writing and I would read more of her work. Lots of longing, I almost always enjoy that.
