This book was a solid 5 stars for me until about 85%. I still enjoyed it, but I was very irritated with the last bit of the book.
Believe it or not, I don’t like second chance romances. It didn’t work the first time for a stupid reason, there will be another stupid reason that breaks them up during the book. And to have the audacity to not have an HEA.
How Thee Ever, THIRD chance romances? Just kidding. The rule of three doesn’t apply here. They’re STILL DUMB! I actually liked this book. But thinking back on the story I can’t help but feel the whole deal was huge waste of time. It should’ve been a 3.5 or a 3. But I’m big mad about reading and nearly likely a genre that irks me.

Cute second chance romance set in the film industry. Funny enough the spiciest scene is from an audiobook Kaliya is listening to.
The soundtrack for this book makes me think that Myah Ariel must have been a teenager in the 90's and early 00's!

What an impressive debut novel by Myah Ariel! It’s so eloquently written, Ariel’s prose is unbelievable. Simply put, When I Think of You (to me) is a beautiful story of what it means to love with your whole being and fight through loss and grief to hold onto it. I could feel Ariel’s personal connection to the subject matter reflected in the pages, which only strengthened her writing. I cannot wait to read No Ordinary Love come April 2025!
