This read as if the author had a really great ending but didn’t know how to introduce the characters or develop the story. Very disjointed and a lot of information that somewhat came together in the end but could have been told better

This book took me on a bit of an emotional roller coaster. I’m not first in line for a second chance romance but this was very sweet and a story I’m happy was told. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the self sabotage from Kal, until I realized it was true growth. These characters were so well written and this was the kind of story where I found a little bit of myself in each one. Myah is truly a special author and brought this story to life!

I know this is a romance novel but I really didn’t care for the love story. I guess I just didn’t see the appeal of Danny at all and not being able to have a duel perspective only made that feeling stronger.

I really liked this book. It was just what I needed and I related to Kaliya a lot. It was simple, but it was real and the storyline just made sense. A true “if it’s meant to be, it will happen” book
