I Am so excited to write a review for this book because I feel like I have a different opinion compared to others even though I loved the book just as much.
I absolutely ADORED Rose and Connor. I did expect them to be different at the start and I think I figured out why. So I expected them to be more rivals then lovers I think. Whilest they are very much still rivals in certain parts, i also feel like we missed alot of relationship development between them since they already started dating in the addicted books.
I expected to have a bit more of them meeting; being rivals/enemies; getting together and then living after the addicted for now book. Because this was not the case I do feel like we meet them more as “lovers who are in love” instead of the relationship development from the start. Even though I feel like we missed this from their POV I do not feel like this made the book less enjoyable.
After about 60% i felt like the book really started to pull through and I started enjoying it ALOT more. The quotes in this book and the development between Rose and Connor from then on: They really are eachothers King and Queen
