Yeesh! The constant nail biting action was just too much. My gosh, what these characters endure. None stop fighting for survival was almost too ridiculous. Very interesting premise though. Very dark and very violent.
It was really good, but didn't explain WICKED enough for me.

When I heard there was a prequel I was hoping it would be more about WICKED and designing the Maze and all the other trials to get ready for the ventures ahead. However, it was before that, when the virus was infecting people with flashbacks to when the sun flares first hit. I'm not saying it wasn't interesting, I just thought there would be more going on with WICKED and less with prologue-type stuff. It doesn't add too much to the whole storyline of the Maze Runner books but not a bad read to pass the time. And Mark is a better protagonist than Thomas in my opinion.
Me encariñe mucho con estos personajes pensar que ellos murieron salvando a Teresa (aunque igual iban a morir pro la llamarada) no me gusta. Pero da un vistazo de como comenzo en realidad todo muy bueno.
I loved how much action was in this book. I think it was one of my favourites of the whole series. I recommend reading it after the trilogy!!
