This is a very good mystery crime thriller. It's unique to me as it gives the sense of life in Indian Reservation. Great read!

I expected a typical thriller. What I got was so much more. It was a story of coming to terms with yourself and redemption wrapped up in the covers of a thriller. I absolutely loved how the story unraveled. It was so complicated with not only the cartels, but with the native American society. It brought out so many issues and a heirachy that I wouldn't have expected. It was fast paced as well. The characters were in depth and while not totally likeable, they were interesting. Nathan I felt so bad for, but Virgil did everything in his power to do right by him and be the best parental figure he could be.
