this book is completly useless, I really really don't understand the purpose of writing this book, it had no plot, it had no deeper meaning, nothing, it was just funny like twice

Bollywood actress turned interior designer, Mrs. Twinkle "Funnybones" Khanna takes us through a journey of her day to day life. She shows a side of bollywood celebrity family which is somewhat relatable to a common Indian Family while putting forth her opinions on everyday situations a modern Indian woman comes across in the most witty and humorous way.

The language used is very simple, and felt like Mrs. Khanna actually talking. Her interactions with her disciplined and witty husband who she denotes as "The man of the house", her children, "mummyji" (her mother in law), her mother (also an actress), her staff and more or less everyone she comes across are hilarious. For instance, she pokes fun at a little incident where a rickshaw driver, without recognizing her, tells her certain 'lesser known secrets' about the bollywood star Akshay Kumar and later the witty response of her husband on hearing them.

On the whole, book has a sense of exuberance and will manage to bring a smile to the reader.

Twinkle Khanna has proven her humor again and again in this book....If you are looking for something light, go with this.... Her sarcastic opinions and the incidents she's described will make you laugh....again her thinking on various serious issue will make you come to learn with an intelligent mind... A homemaker, a candle shop owner, wife of a super-star, mother of two beautiful kids, daughter of a working mother, daughter-in-law of a panjabi, a fun company and an outstanding writer..... She has proven her skill beautifully...

i liked the book yet i gave it 3 star because this book is just not my type of book....yeah i laughed a lot but this is not all.... something was missing...may be because this book is the collection of her column and don't really convey a whole story....
so yeah 3 stars for me...
i would love to read her next book....and congratulations to her...

A really really funny and light read. Touches the subjects most writers in India won't even think of incorporating in their books let alone a debut. Loved it through and through.

It was a light fun read. After reading a lot of heavy stuff this year, I enjoyed reading this book. There were some funny incidents mentioned which I didn't find quite funny. But I was able to laugh at most of the funny snippets from Twinkle's life. I liked her writing style and her English is good too. I had read few of her newspaper articles earlier and since I liked them, I decided to pick up this book. Chapters in the book look like blog posts or diary entries.
