This is the first Elle Kennedy book I’ve read although I have listened to audiobooks by her previously.
I enjoyed the humour and family unit created in this book (not realised it was a next generation series until after reading it, do I want to go back and read those? Yes!). I liked the characters she built and their given backstories. This book brought many moments of laughter, shocks and steaminess. It was a great and I’d definitely recommend it to fellow romance readers especially jockey romance readers… it definitely has Hannah Grave vibes

there were more individual plot lines in this than the entire off-campus series combined lol.

Spoileralso when twenty-somethings cannot communicate or stand firm on their own, i'm checked out. gigi did not owe case literal shit - especially when she found out he went from simply cheating to ultra mega cheating - (he cheated, period.) but she was too busy worried about his feelings for like 84% of this book. he cheated on her, lied about the severity of it, then got mad at her when she moved on - except she couldn't stop worrying about him finding out the whole time. jesus h christ.
