4 stars because why the fuck not?
This book is too long. The spicy bits did not work for me. But I was charmed, and very much intrigued by the twists and turns. I ended up having a lot of fun with this. 4 stars for crazy fun stupid nonsense.

This is very strange Cinderella story. Slow Burn but than, BANG it spiral. I mean from "I never had an Orgasm" to all kinds of kinks. I didn't connect with the characters at all, and maybe this is why i rated 3,5⭐. The story was not what i expected, and in if i remeber correctly in Cinderella the Prince didn't have a psychopath as a Brother.
I loved this book soooo much. This book was so cute and romantic. It was everything a good fairy-tale should have, but somehow it wasn't a fairy-tale. Del and Beck have officially made it to my list of favourite book characters. I was hooked from the beginning. Beck's character development made the story more interesting. The twists are secrets add an element of surprise to the story. The smut in this book was delicious. The scenes and the dialogues made me hot and bothered. I enjoyed every part of it.
Delilah was strong and assertive. I loved her character. All the characters were so beautifully written and so different from each other. Beck was the perfect morally grey MMC. I loved Victor and Cordelia and their chemistry made me wish for their story. I was specially intrigued by how the plot of the story was written, it keeps the readers on their toes and the book gave me major princess switch vibes. Delilah and Beck's bedroom relationship was everything. The communication and the comfort they built towards each other was something people in relationships should try to exhibit more.
Mr. Beckett surely knew how to charm a woman. I swear, everytime he called her Blondie, my heart did a somersault in my chest. Beck might be morally grey, but he wasn't cruel. He had honour and decency. Something that made him stand out to me was that he respected Del's personal space and didn't do anything to intentionally make Del uncomfortable. The way he was already obsessed with Del and thought of her as his wife even before marriage made me swoon. I loved Brody and her character. She was a breath of fresh air to the story.
I love the relationship between Cordelia and Delilah. They were soul sisters. They had a true sisterly bond. They were there for each other when it mattered.
They had an important lesson in this story, which was that trust is most crucial in a relationship and love can only exist between two individuals who trust each other not just with their bodies but with their heart and souls.
If I hear anyone tell me they don't like it. I might've a bone to pick with them. The book delivers all the tropes exquisitely. Dilan Dyer put in the best drugs in her book, and now I want more of them. Desperately waiting for the next hit.

Well written MCs. I was invested in their relationship and them individually. Great s*x scenes that had me going *whew*! 3/5 stars because some of the plot points didn’t make sense to me (spoilers below) and the dynamics with Julian seemed to be “for romance reasons”.
***SPOILERS***
Why was Julian working with the mob?
It seems like the plot could’ve moved without the Russian mob plot point.
The previous boss plot point also seemed unnecessary, she could’ve just been hard up for a job.
Feels like Beck just unalived someone out of fucking nowhere? And Delilah never finds out???
The author revealing Beck knew the whole time about her not being Cordelia was just like tossed in there? I honestly had to go back and make sure I hadn’t missed something. It should’ve been revealed in a conversation between them. And been single POV
The ending just seemed a bit glommed together, but I do appreciate the author not falling into the typical omgggg you aren’t who you say you are???? I can never trust you againnnnnn.

this book was so good, like crazy good, I was hooked. the tropes made it even better for me, it might not be everyone’s book but ohhh I loved it so so much!
delilah and cordelia’s platonic friendship had me screaming crying and throwing up, I loved them both so much. i loved everything they did for eachother and how they were there for eachother.
delilah and beck omg… those two were endgame, and the slow burn literally KILLED me but I’m so glad thy had a happy ending!
i really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read the next one - which i have an arc for and am immediately starting now!
Thank you to Dilan for providing me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
NOT DILAN COMING IN WITH ALL MY FAVORITE TROPES WHEW.
When Philippa Young posted about Dilan's upcoming WIP, I instantly ran to Dilan's IG and followed her because CIFI sounded right up my alley. I was lucky enough to get an ARC and I absolutely devoured it.
I love a morally grey MMC and Beck was 100% that. When the story started out, he wanted to get with and marry "Cordelia" in order to gain power over her wealth and advance his company that he shares with his brother. But Beck definitely got more than he bargained for with "Cordelia" - aka - Del. Del is assertive and knows what she wants and she knows exactly who can give it to her AYO.
The spice is beyond hot and I have a hard time believing this is Dilan's debut novel. It is definitely worth every single second. There is some content that may be triggering, so be sure to check the warnings prior to reading. But I HIGHLY recommend. I cant wait for *coughcordeliaandvictorcough*

The fact that Francesca by Hozier himself is in the playlist for this book is a crime.
