I seem to be in the minority here, but I really don’t know what people like about this book.
The characters are all awful, but not interesting-awful, just plain awful. The plot does take twists and turns, and the clues to the “answer” are there, but it drags on for ages, and concludes with long passages to re-explain it all to us. This one was definitely not for me.

As sad as I was when Reginald Hill died, as disappointed as I am in the dullness of Elizabeth George's latest novel, Sophie Hannah gives me hope that there are good, complex, mysteries with fascinating characters still in my future.

There is nothing I love more than being shocked by a twist! This book had me asking “what is going on?” from page one! I love the complex characters and the pace at which we learned their story. I could hardly wait for the next detail. I also loved the pace at which things began moving at the climax as Hannah switched between stories for frequently.
Awesome awesome read!

A marvelous psychological thriller which invades the depths of troubled human minds. As usual, Sophie Hannah has created a mind blowing piece of work. I was intrigued throughout and for once, the ending did not disappoint. Deals with the world of artists and their lives.

Still enjoying the Sophie Hannah Spilling Series. It's true they can make me angry at times, but I just can't stop. My friend pointed out that they are like potato chips, which is a perfect description of this series!

An interesting world and character perspectives, but not one of my favorite thrillers. It felt like a few storylines could have been trimmed down, but enjoyed the main character and detective Zailer.
