I don't know whether it's bc the book is good (actually better than the previous ones), that I had low expectations, or a combination of both, but anyway, I did like this book.
let me tell you the most surprising thing about it its that I actually laughed out loud at one or two scenes, one of those involved the cat and the guys and fucking crist it had the same energy as puss and shrek in shrek 2.
now, the book wasn't slow, but it felt as quickly resolved. like somethings were just.. there and then they weren't. oh, and also there's the fact that, this book kind of.. don't follow the premise? the whole, or at least the main thing, it's the book club and how the guys read romance books that help them in their relationship, and here noah kind of reads one but it felt as if the author included those two or three scenes just bc she has to do so, like yeah the saga is bromance bookclub so..
i liked both noah and alexis, I'm a sucker for a friend's to lovers slowburn, so that may have contributed to me liking the book.

this one made me teary. I mean these characters are so imperfect it almost feels real. their struggles are serious and what they go through is intense. and finding love through all of that is inspiring
Lyssa Kay Adams didn’t disappoint. I’m in love with this series. I can’t wait for the next one.
