The disability rep in this is great! Deaf/hard of hearing rep, ASL rep, and wheelchair rep. I hope the full novel continues this. I loved the way the ship actually required it’s crew to learn ASL in their contract. I would love to read more about David and Jovanni’s adventures. I just wish there was more, but this is a novella so that’s expected.

This was pretty similar to Into the Drowning Deep, just much shorter. I know it says this one is #0.5 in the series but I would recommend reading it second or just skipping it.

I was excited to read this little novella after I finished Into the Drowning Deep and it did not disappoint. It was suspenseful and interesting. All the characters were kinda dumb though so it’s no wonder they all died.
