Again our four princes are out to save the day, in the most bumblingest of ways. Charming.
guys I am way more emotionally invested in these books than I think I'm supposed to be
I liked this one even more than the first. The quest, the character development, the humor-- if giggling madly to myself in my bedroom is any indication, I would say I thoroughly enjoyed it.
(but like
Gustav I thought you would be my least favorite why are you making me so happy) (Frederic you are beautifully pathetic I love you) (and I never thought I would care about Briar but somehow I do??)
I'm sorry judge me all you like but these books make me happy. I desperately need the next one.

This fun and adventure filled sequel takes place several months after the first book ends. The confident, if not quite competent, League of Princes is back. Their first mission is to save Liam from having to marrying Briar Rose. When they don't exactly succeed at that, they encounter yet another adventure. All of your favorite characters from The Hero's Guide to Saving Your Kingdom are back, including Liam's sister Lila, Deeb Rauber the Bandit King, and the Troll. I laughed out loud at parts, and cheered for the heroes on their quests. Highly recommended for grades 3-6, but read the first book first.
Another hilarious installation of the four Prince Charmings and their ladies. This time, they are trying to get a special sword. Again, listening to the audiobook performed by Bronson Pinchot. My only complaint is that one character's voice is very hard for me to understand (too low and mumbly). Otherwise, another excellent job.
It's pretty much just as amazing as the first one. Oh my God I love it so much.
Such a fun series to read. This second outing of the league of princes establishes details in all the characters and introduces us to some new good and evil ones.
But the only fault is any younger reader like my kids love to hear this read to them, but the almost 500 page book tends to become a bit to long for them at times and we had to take a break a few times. Despite that they still wanted to keep on going afterwards.
