I’m not going to post a synopsis because this is such a fun book to enter totally blind, but the entire book is an experience of trying to figure out what is real and what isn’t.
The audiobook was phenomenal. Narrated by Bronson Pinchot, Dawn Harvey, and Janina Edward’s - actually, scratch that, this was PERFORMED and one of the best audiobooks I’ve listened to, truly. All three of them voice acted this story impeccably, and I was beyond impressed. Even though I landed at a four for this story, the audio was a five and truly incredibly done.

This may be my favorite audio book of this month, holy crap this was great! This is for my friends that like weird, strange and uncanny all layered in with some suspense. It is basically one man’s journey into figuring out what is and isn’t real.
Jon Bassoff did a fantastic job portraying this fever dream of a story. Think the Truman Show meets Conspiracy Theory. The voice actors Bronson Pinchot, Dawn Harvey, and Janina Edward brought me into this story. I was so immersed I finished it in one day.

John Bassoff does it again. This is the second of his books I’ve read and they are not for everyone, but they do leave an impression. If you want to experience the horror that is other people you can’t go wrong with this book.
