Tragic but honestly one of the best books I’ve ever read. I was nervous due to how others have described it, but I never found myself needing to take a break. The ending was nothing I would’ve ever expected.

Everyone should read because there are so many parallels to our society that should be thought about. Just because we don’t see it doesn’t mean it’s not happening.

Overall, an alright book with some dark and emotional twists and turns. Part 1 was really slow in my opinion and was there to give a lot of backstory it seems but nothing else. Part 2 was a lot better and when things got very interesting very quickly.

I don’t even know how to review this book. It is so eloquently written, and so evocative without going into deep detail. It is horrifying in so many ways and I will be thinking about it for a very long time. It was not necessarily an enjoyable read as such but it is well written and I did like it.

I found this to be a really quick read. It was intriguing but definitely not a book you want to read while eating. I really liked how mysterious and tense it was.

So incredibly disturbing in the most effective and soul-crushing way. Truly an incredible social commentary on our world and our humanity, in more ways than one. If you’re squeamish, it could be a difficult read, but it’s so worth it!!

Side note: the amount of times I wanted to go vegetarian while reading this was U N R E A L
