This is a fun book in a shared world of monsters and online matchmaking/dating apps! What a fun idea!

I also appreciated the diversity rep with Dani! (also all the food made me hungry lol). We don't see that enough and I loved reading about him talking about growing up with his mixed heritage and culture.
There is a fun story (and fans of her other shared world series should recognize Maddox, although you totally don't have to have read that to understand this book) with some steam, humor, great characters, and all set in a fun world. Definitely will need to read more from this shared world series!

Maddox is our ORC who has found his human match Dani. Maddox is just a bit over enthused shall we say! He does try to be subtle which is fun because he just can't be when it comes to Dani. I swooned over this. Dani is adorable but still feels insecure about other's intentions since he is the famous owner of the Monster Match app. Their romance is a fun romp with some stalker suspense.

I think they are so boring.
Big, Brutish, Primal never really sensual or innocent or anything of note really. They just exist to be big and bad and then to have some twinky human (male or female) to be their mate and to "tame" them.
and once again, I was proven correct.
Dani was likable, he was a lot in his head and I dunno his "poor little rich boy" Schtick didn't sit well with me. But they were sweet with Nox so I could over look that.

this installment was meh
The story and premise aren't bad, but it's not very well executed. I mean, so many parts feel like a rip from the Monstrous series by Lily Mayne. Not to mention how anticlimactic the reveal of the ghost was. There's literally no tie between Dani and the ghost, so why did it haunt him for years? Also, if you're going to rip off from another author, maybe use a different name for your main character. At least this one was slightly better than the first in the series.

First off I loved the small crossover from black cat circus! I always hoped we would find out what happened to Maddox and then I had my wish granted
Dani is adorably perfect. Of course slightly worried people will want him because he created the app but he was so perfect for Maddox. I loved us seeing nova. I hope we get to see more about rafe and silk and maybe the other orc from town? Koda is amazing and I havnt had a single book I disliked from them!
