CASSANDRA CLARE DID IT AGAIN!!!! She made me cry in the last book, wrapped up everything nicely, and made us want to read more about Emma, Julian and the rest in Lady midnight. I want to read every book written about Shadowhunters by her and so far 9 books are down!

I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this angsty, pulpy YA series. The characters are relatable and imperfect, the world Clare creates is massive. The whole enterprise was a lofty undertaking deftly handled, without every straying too far from the fun.

I waited and waited and waited for the action to start in this book. Finally, around page 580 or so, something started happening to the main characters other than attending council meetings or huddling around talking about how evil and unstoppable Sebastian is. The ending was predictable and cutesy, but what else can you expect from a series that's gone on too long? 3 out of 5 (and I may be rating a bit generously if I'm being honest here).

How perfect. I could cry. In my past reviews I had said that Clare should have left this book a trilogy, because I didn't enjoy the last two books as much has the first three. BUT THIS ONE was just great. What a beautiful wrap up to a series I have been following since 2010!
I can't even write a coherent review right now, because I literally just finished it and the feels I have are just to intense. But I can say that I loved this book and the end of this series. It was perfect and fitting and realistic.

Como todo final de saga, llega la hora de despedirse de los personajes y cuando lo acabé fue como, "acabó..."
y yo no estaba preparada!
Me acostumbré tanto a estos personajes, a leerlos, a sus sentimientos y emociones; que sí me pegó duro el hecho de saber que, el protagonismo de estos personajes ya no estaría.
Cuando comencé a leer esta saga lo hice sin expectativas, simplemente la premisa de esta me llamaba la atención y le quise dar una oportunidad y vaya sorpresa agradable la que me encontré; no creí que me fuera a gustar TANTO.
Acerca del libro en concreto, sí, me gustó mucho, no me decepcionó para nada.
Hubo momentos donde lloré de tristeza pero también hubo donde lloré de felicidad porque AL FIN, los problemas ya no iban a ir directamente a estos personajes. Se que como todo shadowhunter corren riesgos, pero al menos, afrontarlos todos juntos y felices.
Amé a las parejas, sobre todo a Malec, pero claro que también Clace, ellos sufrieron infinidad de cosas para estar juntos. Y como olvidar Sizzy, que tuvo un poco más de impacto en este libro, bueno, las 3 parejas tuvieron impacto jaja.
Amé como se desarrollaron los personajes a lo largo de la saga, todos crecieron, mejoraron y se desarrollaron muy bien.
Sobre todo Alec, sentí que el si que dio un cambio, y en sí todos mejoraron para bien.
En fin, amé esta saga, la disfruté mucho y más adelante leere the dark artifices porque el mundo de cazadores de sombras sigue creciendo!.
