Overall it was very cute. Loved the dual POV and seeing both reactions to challenging situations. Hated Diane, wish Ben was better sooner. Could’ve done without bestie hookup. Ellie is a people pleaser and it unfortunately reminded me a lot of myself. Also Kiernan should’ve punched Hank when he said it wasn’t his fault.
kind of feels like an AI wrote this for me? it has San Francisco, food, a mischievous cat, people-pleasing, romance. it's sweet and a fine fluffy read, but not particularly memorable.
This was excellent. So carefully crafted, a little cliche in some places, but overall so warmhearted. Puts your heart back together in a way you didn't know you needed
