Oh my heart!

I'm not a fan of kids but Luca has stolen my heart, he is just adorable and deserves so much happiness.

I loved this story between Sutton and Cope, I've been wanting Sutton's story since the beginning and glad we finally got it and it did not disappoint. I really do love the whole found family in this series and just the Colson family in general are just epic and Lolli is just hilarious.

This book totally had me tense and on edge with everything going on and it equal parts wanting to know what was happening but also not wanting to know as Sutton and Luca had been through more than enough.

Can't wait for the next book, I really want Arden's story next.

Sutton and her son Luca escaped to Sparrow Falls after they were caught in the crosshairs of her ex-husband's addiction issues. In Sparrow Falls they've found a quiet town to start over, but it hasn't been without struggle. As a single mom, Sutton's doing her very best for Luca, but suddenly, she has trouble with her landlord, leading to an eviction.

Cope has been an NHL star for years, but he's carried around a mountain of pain after her dad and brother died in a car crash. He comes home to Sparrow Falls for the summer to help coach a kids' hockey camp, where he meets Luca. Soon enough, Cope finds out some of the hardships Sutton is facing and does everything he can to help her. Of course, they find themselves living together and can't fight the attraction. But that doesn't mean that everyone in their lives wants them to have a happily ever after.

Having read the first two books in the Sparrow Falls series, I felt that this one had some different vibes. It was more physically violent and had less psychological suspense, and personally, I preferred the psychological suspense of the first two books.
