I will read anything Catherine Cowles writes. Her characters are complex and lovable. I want to live in Sparrow Falls. If you like a small town romance with a side of suspense that include strong FMC and MMC that are caring and protective, do yourself a favor and read this series.

I really liked this book. Loved Sutton and Cope's relationship. Loved the suspense elements! Just enjoying the whole series and all of the side characters too. Loved how the Colson's treated Sutton and Luca like they were family.

There were some emotional scenes. Like learning about Cope's history and the accident that killed his dad and brother. Spoilers...I teared up when Teddy died. Didn't see that coming.

Eventhough I liked Sutton and Cope's relationship, I did feel like it was a bit insta-lovey for me. Especially Cope just seemed to fall in love with her after barely knowing her. But I can look past that for the most part because I had a good time while reading this.

Definitely worth the read, and I'm excited to continue on in the series!
