Sutton made my mama heart so happy and she was such an awesome mom for Luca and the perfect example of what motherhood is, and how much our kids are loved.
Cope was such a sweetheart and was such a great guy! He really cared about those around him. His banter with his siblings was so much fun to watch. And then him and Sutton together was SWOONY!
Lolli of course steals the show any time she is around and such a hoot!
I’m so ready for the next book, but I’m still most excited for the book about a couple I want to happen. IYKYK.

I loved watching Cope fall so hard so fast for Sutton and her son. Their falling felt so natural. Thw twist in this book really got me too!

This story was so sweet! I loved Cope, Sutton, and Luca so much. Cope’s struggles were very realistic and seeing them work together to overcome them was beautiful. His relationship with Luca was also very heartwarming. I really liked Sutton and seeing her work hard to take care of herself and Luca. Cope has to be my fave mmc so far in this series.

I typically really love Cowles's romances set in Sparrow Falls, but this 3rd book in the trilogy was my least favorite. I still plan to read the rest of the series.
In this installment, Cope Colson, hockey phenom, meets Sutton and is instantly attracted to her. She had divorced her first husband after he became addicted to drugs and left for the west coast where she opened The MixUp bakery, making the best cupcakes that anyone ever tasted. Her young son, Luca, is a hockey fan, and of course, his idol is Cope "The Reaper". Someone is trying to sabotage Cope and Sutton is afraid of her ex. Cope convinces Sutton that his love for her and Luca is real and they will get through any trouble together. Ups and downs, tragedies, and jealousy are themes.
