This story of Cope and Sutton is heart warming! Hockey star Copeland falls for Sutton the single mom, small town bakery owner that has the best selling cupcakes ever! Such an amazing story of love and bravery that will have you feeling all emotions.

Cope and Sutton! Another excellent book in the Sparrow Falls series. Granted the thing about this series is that by the end of each book you are ready for the next one. This one is no exception but I have to say Cope, Sutton, and Luca were all great. I always enjoy it when a kid is a big part of the story. Luca adds the child wonder and innocence that is often lost in these types of books.

The way the sparks flew in this one was really good, I really liked how their relationship developed through the course of the book. Cope was such a good listener and was able to support Sutton in ways that I don't even think she knew she needed. Cope and Luca's relationship was so wholesome I love how much they bonded through out the story.

I liked how we had no point in time where Cope questioned if he wanted to be with Sutton because of Luca, no questioning really of if he wanted to pursue Sutton at all it, it just kind of happened which with all the other elements of this story was nice to see.

The twist in this one was most definitely not where I was expecting it to go, granted I liked the way it resolved and felt like justice was served in the end.

This book felt like 100 pages too long even though it was only 350 pages. I was entertained enough to finish it, but I think Catherine Cowles writes the same story over and over. At least this time the ending wasn't the damsel in distress ending up in the hospital. Yes, Sutton was initially the damsel at the end, but having Cope being shot was a nice change up. Also, if I had a nickel for every time one of Cowles FFC's was attacked, hit in the head, got a concussion, ended up in the hospital and the doctor had to tell the MMC that he needed to wake her up every three hours to ask her basic questions, I would have 4 nickels and that's a lot.  I think I'll probably finish this series just cause I am curious about these characters, but then I think I am done with her books.

I liked the addition of Suttons son, but I thought too often that he was talking too maturely for his age. Also the nickname "Warrior" killed me the entire time and I could have come up with way better names. Also, I didn't quite feel the connection between Sutton and Cope in this book and was a little disappointed in that.
