Really loving this series. I did feel like this one was maybe a little quick with the romance (although nothing actually happened between them until over 50% of the way through, but the feelings). However, I still love how there's so much communication with the couple and the suspense element is always so well done. My favourite character is still Lollie and always will be.

1000000% a 5/5. There was something different about this book, idk what it was but every single chapter had me interested and on my toes. I am a SUCKER for single mom/dad romances and this one made me have all the emotions. I laughed and cried and smiled and the spice scenes were spiceingggg!! These Colson boys are a different breed of man

A severally underrated trope (single mom) combined with hockey AND romantic suspense??? Catherine Cowles has hit the trifecta!!

I loved Sutton in the previous two books (and Luca, of course) so getting her and Cope’s story was amazing. As with all CC books, our MMC and FMC are each running from their fair share of mental demons. Copeland is the definition of an alpha man down bad for his girl. The way he continually showed up for Sutton and Luca was everything I want in a single parent romance. And the way Sutton supported Cope through his own mental battles 🥹 just a healthy, mutually supportive relationship which we love to see.

As with the previous books, the whole Colson family crew shows up when it matters for those in their circle. And this was the closest I’ve been to accurately guessing a CC villain though there were still parts of the reveal that managed to shock me.

Another great romantic suspense delivery! Very excited to dive into the next book!!
