This is an incredibly unique read. If you are a fan of monster romance as a genre this is cute and fluffy. There is no spice but that didn’t stop this from being an wonderful adventure romance in which a witch and a tentacle blob fall in love.

Sapphic cozy eldritch horror. I love the way creation and becoming were written. Overall really interesting world building and really cute
This was surprisingly sweet. I mean, going into it I knew it was going to be a cute F/F monster romance and I was told it was low-heat (and honestly it’s more low, low heat, barely there) by a book-buddy but I wasn’t prepared for how innocent and earnest their connection was?
I was honestly sad that it wasn’t longer. I would’ve loved to see/read them stumble through their firsts together, I imagine it would be painfully cute, and ofc figure out how to coexist without the mind-melting screaming on Earth. I wanted so much more of the two of them!
Tentative, slightly-insecure, desperate for her human to like her alien/monster woman and her confident, rash, loud and determined human is such a great combination.

this was amazing 10 stars out of five - HIGHLY recommend this and it’s a quick read but there are TWO sequels
