A darker and heavier conclusion to the trilogy, Mockingjay leans into politics, propaganda, and the emotional weight of rebellion. Katniss is fierce as ever, but this time her struggles are more internal. Trauma, manipulation, and loss. The violence and chaos feel relentless, and while the plot focus is strong, the emotional resonance of the ending fell a little flat for me. Still, it’s a tense, reflective exploration of survival and the human cost of war.
