So this is my second time reading Mockingjay and I cried a lot. I don't remember much about the first time I read this book but this time felt like a first. It was SO good. It helped that I paced out this book and read a part a day and it helped me absorb it differently, and definitely in a better way. I felt more for Katniss this time around and I'm very glad I reread it.. I LOVE the ending, I can't get over it. It made up for the excruciating last 50 pages for me.

I let 19 pages in stand by for 2 months and a half because I couldn’t bare to finish it, that says it all.
I was truly mesmerised by Suzanne’s prose and the way she portrayed such heart-breaking deaths and conflicts through Katniss’ mind.
I love the symbolism between the roses and fire, it could represent both Katniss and Snow as well as Primrose and the Revolution (bombs); I think is just a nice touch how is carried throughout the three books and I know for sure there will be more in the following books.
I would recommend this trilogy to anyone who would like a perfect read but also, to those who would care for what is happening in the world right now as well as they probably would do with Katniss and Peeta’s tale. Their story is one of many and if you don’t realise that, you are blinded by capitol’s propaganda as well
For me, adressing the issues that matters nowadays is what keeps this characters’ essence alive.
Loved it with alll my heart💗
