Good book, but maybe it should've just stayed as a podcast.
I feel like once you've read the first chapter, you've really read 95% of the book. A lot of the rest of the book is just repeating the same things to hit a word count. Every once in a while it switches to a new topic it didn't touch on with a nice graphic like "what if I'm the toxic friend?" But beyond that not much to write home about....

This book kind of reminded me of a reference book- one that you might reference for advice about a particular topic that has come up amongst one of your friendships. Felt like a how-to book concerning certain aspects of friendships. Not a bad book, but not necessarily one I read every word of. I skimmed much of it but could see how it would be helpful for some.

saw this at the bookstore & thought i shall give it a read one day!!! a book of advice of the most perplexing issues of adult friendship today - packed with wisdom, tools, and scripts to improve current friendships and make new, lasting ones.
could be really helpful to some people but honestly not quite much for me. some of the advices felt forceful & i cant help but to see myself not following them. i guess at the end of the day, its important to tell yourself that everyone have their own ways to build & improve their own friendships so i kinda feel that they should not be too restrictive with it.
i personally like the part about respective yourself & your friends though! particularly about establishing boundaries; thought i could really relate most to that.
apparently this book came about from a podcast ((which i have never heard)) so probably fans of the podcast would be able to appreciate this more.

✨ Thrifted ✨
This was a very short and sweet read! ✨ I have recently been reading these kinds of self-help type books and this one I enjoyed particularly. The illustrations were so idyllic and felt inclusive too. It talks through the process of friendships: how we can first make friends, then how we can keep them and everything in between! It even discussed how we can break up with them which I thought was super insightful. This is one I’d like to refer back to, thank you so much 🥰

This was a really cute and interesting read. As I’m about to leave my 20s, this made me reevaluate some of my feelings towards friends and was strangely reassuring.
