Check your trigger warnings if you need them before diving in, but this was a really good story! Intense and unsettling throughout the duration of the story. I will admit that I guessed the ending, however that did not ruin how great the entire leadup was.
nice twist. a good break. something to keep me thinking about it when i wasnt reading it. i do wish it was written a better but overall it was a good read.

The story opens with a young executive being sentenced to prison. We follow her there, then read more about her life and her crime. The story is told in dual timelines; life now and life in high school. It’s an interesting and well written book, easy to read, often gory. The ending was over the top and too neatly wrapped up.

i was routing for geo & kaiser from the first mention so im very happy with the ending. i enjoyed the entire the book apart from the climax at the end with her son & calvin, it just felt rushed and strange - other than that i loved it
I was not expecting this book to end the way it did. Still a good read.
