3.5⭐ What you would expect from this "closed door" romance (I just recently learned this, and I'm so grateful). I much prefer a romance with a reason ... was it a thrilling novel, no, but it was lighthearted and cute, and as I have said before a good break for my brain.

Not understanding the world of hockey, and grumpy coaches Andie storms the ice to yell at the coach and things escalate from there. Mitch has lust a first sight and slowly works to convince Andie he isn't the quick-tempered fowled mouth hockey player with no substance she thinks he is.
This story is low spice - kissing only with a hint of something more behind closed doors in the epilogue.

2.5/3 - honestly feel bad rating this because if you know me romance just doesnt do it for me. did i like it? yes. did it feel like fanfic? yes. cute lil quick kindle unlimited hockey romance.
Cute hockey romance with some heavier themes. Both MCs had been through a lot before meeting. Their dynamic worked, they balance one another, and despite one of the MCs being famous, I liked that the drama was, for the most part, things that anyone might go through.
