AUDIOBOOK REVIEW

Loved the story, love the plot (even if the suspense did kinda throw me off) honestly didn’t really care much for the characters because I hate a relationship that is mirrored as one person giving everything and the other not giving anything in return.

Our MMC Logan almost quite literally gave up everything to be closer to our FMC Thea and their daughter and she couldn’t even let go of her past.
I try not to judge people based on their trauma or say something as insensitive as “get over it” but Damn Thea really needed to just freaking GET OVER IT. Half the plot dragged because she wasn’t willing to overcome shit from her past and that just pissed me off.
Plus I have never in my life seen a girl that has a billionaire that wants to spoil her and give her the world say “oh I’m just not that type of girl” “bartending is my passion” like girl? Is you stupid?

Another fantastic book

Tattered was amazing. I love that it was Logan's story and we got to see his happily ever after. Thea and Charlie were the perfect mother/daughter duo in small town Montana. I'm on pins and needles waiting for Timid!

This book felt like a more lengthy Harlequin Presents romance. I am not sure why I bought this in the first place but I am glad that I gave it a try (when I found it on my eReader).

The book was pretty typical and will be familiar to Harlequin readers but done with a modern panache. It was nicely written though and I liked both of our main characters. I did like how the pregnancy angle was handled here. It was believable and quite well done.

The only real issue was this last minute plot twist. It was supposed to add drama but I kept rolling my eyes instead.

Overall I liked the book though and will probably pick up the next ones in the series as well.

June 2023:
So a Kobo Klean-up is needed methinks because it turns out I own this book

this started off super promising but by the 40% mark, I got bored. I can see why people like it, people just wasn’t me.
