it was very nice to see lily and lo's perspective of the events in kiss the sky and hothouse flower. this book definitely emphasized their bond. lily and lo are true soulmates.

I took a hiatus from this series for a while, and I feel like I picked the perfect place to take a break- after Hothouse Flower. Since Thrive is a companion novel that spans two years time and covers the events of the two prior books from Lily and Lo's POV, it really helped to refresh my memory after such a long break.

It was great to be back with the gang!

I really enjoyed catching up with Lily and Lo. They have really grown on me. Lo even made me tear up a few times.

And then there is Daisy and Ryke. I actually re-read over half of Hothouse Flower while in the middle of this book because I love those two and wanted to re-read from their POVs.

So, now I am all caught up and ready for the rest of the series. And I'm really looking forward to it!

I wasn’t a huge fan of knowing all of the major plot points before even starting. I did appreciate their story, it just felt like it drug on.

I’m conflicted whether or not I should read the spin off series. This one has me on a chokehold a light one that I can easily slip out of but the pressures there. Cos like it’s good and I wanna know but like maybe THATS ENOUGH SLICES u know???

honestly, this wasn’t bad. i’m just really getting tired of the “alpha male” personality that everybody has in this book. this book could’ve been so much sweeter if there were less people being horny + having sex (in public areas!!! gross) and if they behaved like normal people.

*and by normal i mean NOT wanting to rip each other’s throats every 5 pages.
