Oh my goodness what a beautiful addition to the story. I was moved so many times. I loved the little break to read Rose and Daisy's stories but it was really nice to get back to Lily and Lo and see what they were going through during that same time period. It is incredible to see the progress each of them have made in their own way. Can't wait to see where things go now!
even though this book was just kiss the sky and hothouse flower in lily and lo's perspectives, i thoroughly enjoyed it. lily is my favorite calloway girl so i wasn't complaining! i can't believe the next book will be their last, ahhhh. this series is so long and all the books are pretty thick (besides the first two + i'm reading the bad reputation duet) and i've been dragging out reading this (it's been 2 years since i finished addicted to you) but it's still going by too fast. it has been such a journey reading this series and i never want it to end

Krista & Becca Ritchie have done it again!! Six books into this series and I still cannot get enough. These two young women truly know how to write a beautiful, engaging story that makes you feel everything.
I bought this the second it was released on amazon but then I kind of froze for a second, nerves kicking in. I kept thinking "What if it's not as good as the other books? What if I get bored? What if I end up hating Lily and Lo?" But I put my big girl pants on and started reading and I LOVED IT!!
From every page, every detail, description, funny joke, heartfelt, heartbreaking moment, I loved it all. In fact reading this, I realized I kind of forgot how much I love Lily and Lo. I haven't read a book in their point of view in a while and forgot what it was like for them. (I also forgot how much of a asshole Lo could be but I love him even more for it).
I'm so excited to get my hands on more from this series. I still don't agree with where the the plot is headed but I'm learning to live with it and trust that the authors know what they're doing. Thrive spans through the last two years, going through Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower and yet it never felt like I was reading the same thing twice. We really do get a lot of new material and see what Lily and Lo have been up to while the other characters were falling in love and starting their lives.
Picking up the first book in the series earlier this year was the best decision I've made this year by far. I'm so glad I took the chance on this series and to be honest, no other book ever seems to measure up to this series and these authors writing.
I highly recommend this series but PLEASE start from the beginning. Trust me, you don't want to miss out on a single second with these characters. Now go forth and read :)
Spoiler
first reread: June 6th-June 12, 2017 in all actuality i started this book for my first reread like 2 years ago but I stopped for some reason, I think because a new book in the series came out and I didn't want to wait. Now that Damaged Like Us is releasing in just a few weeks I've decided to continue my reread and I'm so happy that I did. I forgot how much I love and miss these characters. It honestly just makes me feel more sappy at the thought of their children getting their own series. I love the twin's writing, I think it every time I read their books and I will alway look at them as one of my favorite authors ever.
“I don't want to live if you're not living with me.”
“We aren't connected by our addictions. But by our childhood. Souls fused together from the very, very start.”
“Our love is rare. It's one I can't abandon, even if I tried. When she screams, an identical one rips through me. When she cries, my world rains with grief. When she loves, I truly, truly fly.”
lily & lo own my heart. even though this was a recap of kiss the sky & hothouse flower. i still loved lily and lo’s povs. this whole book had me feeling so many emotions. i absolutely adore lilo with all my heart.
