An overly naive main character who does not act like she's in her mid 30s at all. The love interest was charming but a little too perfect in comparison.  The third act complication --
where the character is literally assaulted at a work event by the CEO and then she STAYS at the company and his "punishment" is simply being quietly let go. Meanwhile the SEVERAL women he's assaulted sign an NDA and are fine with that??
-- was truly infuriating and ruined the "happy ending" for me personally.

One of the sweetest, funniest and most beautiful book I’ve ever read about body shaming! Pls, read it asap….

This book is hilarious. Cam and Joellen had me laughing the whole way through. You can feel the chemistry between the two as soon as they meet and it just keeps growing. I was glad Joellen finally opened her eyes and saw what was right in front of her face the whole time. Cam is just amazing, one of the funniest characters I've read in a long time. This is my first J.T. Geissinger book and it will not be my last.
