“It’s the heartbeat of their connection, being drawn to each other’s differences, stretching themselves to narrow that distance between each other without losing themselves.
They…grow. Together. And more deeply into their true selves.”

A cute, snuggle read during the Christmas holidays. The two main characters are both lovable and endearing in their own ways. You learn a bit about autism and the struggles the mfc experiences and you learn a wee bit about diabetes from the mmc. It has a good bit of spicyish romance towards the end of the book, which actually is nice considering it was a short read. It’s definitely a HEA grumpy sunshine vibe, all around a cute quick read!

now this was the holiday read i needed and i devoured the hell out of it !
when i read that this book is similar to the hating game and the movie you’ve got mail, i wanted to read it so freaking bad. i love the storyline of you’ve got mail and, though i did not like the hating game, i do love a good workplace enemies-to-lovers trope!
i enjoyed everything about this novella! gabriella is the cutest character ever, and i loved her relationships with her roommates and, of course, the scrooge-like love interest, jonathan. the development of their relationship was done so beautifully in such a short amount of pages! the inclusivity was refreshing as well, and made me love this book and its characters more :)
