Such a cute and spicy enemies to lovers Christmas tale perfect for the holiday season. The autism and diabetes rep that was included even if somewhat briefly was appreciated.

Debo decir que no tenía expectativas para este libro, yo simplemente quería leer libros navideños y realmente me gusto la experiencia con este libro.
Toca temas sobre el espectro autista, ser demisexual y la diabetes, que la autora a mi ver supo cómo incorporarlos sin que se fue de la mano la escénica del libro.
Si diré que hacía el final todo se vuelve súper rápido, pero también tengamos en cuenta que solo son 185 páginas y que muchas veces para desarrollar bien la historia se necesitan más páginas…
Pero debo decir que me gusto el libro, lo disfrute, es un libro que puedes leer en un día por lo corto que es, por obvias razones yo tarde 2 días

Cute, fun, and quick holiday romance!
This time of the year is always hard for me, so I'm not the biggest fan of Christmas-themed books. But it was great to get lost in something like this novella where the focus is not on family but on friends and co-worker rivalry.
The Mistletoe Motive didn't feel like a novella at all! More like a shorter full-length novel with character build-up and great tension!
I love that this book subverted my expectations. Many times I thought, “please don’t go in that direction” and then *snap* it changed the direction to something I love! So refreshing!
I LOVED the rivalry and animosity between the MCs. And the tension after they slowly developed feelings for each other was so good ahhhh.
Definitely, a great read, whether for the Holiday season or not!

The start was meh, the middle was infuriating toward the end it was cute. It's not a 3 but a 50% seems to little cause the last 3 or 4 chapters were somehwat redeeming.
I ate this up !! I wish it was longer ; such a perfect holiday read !

Ahh it was perfect. The characters, the cozy vibes of the bookstore, the romance for a novella isn't insta love at all and that gets plus points from me. There's no unnecessary drama and the couple compliment each other so well

My first book of 2022 and it turned out to be a big disappointment.
I know it’s supposed to be a cute Christmas themed romance story and doesn’t need to have the best writing or a very in-depth story. I will admit that the story was perfectly fine except maybe the online love interest thing. That felt very unnecessary to me. And the parts of the story that were good, like the ice hockey, the enemies to lovers troupe, felt like the writing didn’t do them justice. Up until their first kiss it was actually quite nice but after that it felt like the story was all over the place. It felt super rushed.
And don’t get me started on the ending. It felt so cringe I couldn’t keep reading. Had to skip paragraphs to get to the end.
However, I do feel bad about giving it a bad review since I really did like the characters. They were really cute, except maybe the names. That was a bit much. But yes, they were cute and I cared about their story but that’s about it.
All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone but I wouldn’t tell them to stay away from it either. You may like it if you enjoy reading short Watt-pad-like stories and love Christmasy themed books.
