this book was a quick and fun read that kept the holiday spirit alive for me. it's set in a small bookstore, and it reminded me a little bit of the show dash and lily, just because i somewhat imagined this small bookstore to be decorated like the strand in this book. it was a swoon-worthy romance and i felt like there was actual palpable chemistry between the main character and the love interest. i think that there was "you've got mail" vibes except for the whole story took place during the few weeks before christmas. the opposing dynamics of the characters (grumpy/sunshine) was actually so cute, and i loved the pining between the characters, and honestly everyone in it was so cute and sweet (except for the joe fox wannabe...). anyways, this is honestly my favorite christmas book period, and it is DEFINITELY a five star read.
